I must admit, the seller was very convincing with his attribution -- he even provided a source and page number. Seeing the price he got for the piece, others were also obviously convinced.
Talking about 'sources', in Judith Miller's "DK Collector's Guides, 20th Century Glass" a vase much like mine, but with a different moulded leaf pattern, appears on page 172. It's described as a
Bohemian clear glass vase of tubular form, moulded and engraved with a partially obscured female torso. 1905I think there must be an error -- I wouldn't describe the vase as 'tubular', and I see leaves, not a naked woman. :spls:
