:hiclp:just been confirmed by the american site that it is a Anchor and hocking Manhatten pitcher.. wot now shall i sell it.. ???

Lustrousstone:
Note that it is NOT Anchor Hocking; it is Hocking (before it added the Anchor bit in 1937) and it won't be Fire King, as that was the heat-resistant line.

Noted!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the clarification, Christine. I've looked at the chataboutdg thread and must admit to still being a bit confused. How can you tell this is Hocking and not the Anchor Hocking version? Is it the plain handle? Or is that article incorrect about the dates (AH came into existence in 1937 and the claim is that the pattern was made from '38-'43).

I believe there are Fire King versions around, but they will be marked? The pattern in Jadeite seems to be highly prized by FK collectors (apparently there are only two known).
