Mystery Question - Glass Bird? - ID = Cristal d' arques
« on: February 18, 2011, 08:29:45 PM »
Hi, I thought I would throw at you folks this mystery bird.  It does have a LABEL but I am hiding it in the pictures to see if anyone get this.  I know I would have never gotten it --- had it not had its label.  Clear glass on top, frosted on the bottom.  About 8 inches high, and 6.5 inches wide.  I am a bit limited in the pics I can attached where the label is not showing.

I am not saying anything else, and see if you can get it from the Pics.

Happy Guessing..... :24:  ;D

I had no idea they did things like this.  I thought it was all Vases, and wine glasses, and stuff like that.....not a Peacock on a base.

I learned something new too... :smg:

I didn't know they made figurines either. Does anyone know when the peacock was manufactured? Since reading this thread I have found other figurines they made but no years of manufacture.  Thanks!

Very good question!!  Nice to find some dates -- and all what they *did* make.  I also saw an Elephant, see if I can find it again...

Here are some other on Ebay right now CLICK HERE  a lion, a different bird, a snowman, a horse.....so far that I found

Does anyone know IF there is a List of Figurines made by them, and dates???  I have not found anything yet.. :spls:

Also since I have a Bear now too (100% ID) I thought I would add that link here too, as a cross reference.

I did check around the internet and found quite a few Cristal D'Arques figurines. Read all the description and not one of them offered a manufacture date.  : (
