Possible Scandi green vase?
« on: February 26, 2011, 05:39:57 PM »
Not very exciting I know, but has a little quality, with the rim being ground/bevelled/polished.    Cased and mould blown, with what some people call a 'paperweight bottom', and showing some quite reasonable wear.    I thought the colour was a sort of Riihimaki green (rather than that sort of olive shade from Aseda)  -  however, I don't see it in either Leslie Pina or Bill Geary's books  -  and coupled with its simple form - rather than the usual irregular shapes of Scandi., I'm now unsure.    Something like 180mm/7" tall.
Hope someone might recoginize it, and as always, thanks for looking. :)

Clear cased teal funnel could be anything, even Scandinavian (Sea?) but I'd rather go for German here.
