I'd like to second the support of Ebay . Like Sue I live in a remote place - albeit Perth in Western Australia - and while there is a lively lot of collectors fairs, trash and treasures etc around the city, after a while it becomes obvious that there are only a few dealers going from one to the other with the same stock. As I collect mostly English and Scottish glass, that in itself is fairly rare to find here. My collection has about 500 pieces of glass - some bought in UK when I lived there 35 years ago, about 30 pieces bought locally over a long period of time, about 20 more bought from Australian Ebay, and the remainder - the vast bulk of it - bought from Ebay internationally. Without Ebay I just couldn't be a collector!
I have been lucky with my sellers, but have always asked questions, asked for more photos etc. If I have had any doubts about the quality or origin of the item I just don't bid. My postage costs are so high to get things here that it is not worth the disappointment when something is not right, as sellers do not refund postage costs. I also don't buy damaged goods because of the high cost of postage, and have been furious in the past when I have received an item with an undisclosed chip.
So go ahead - list your pieces, honestly and well described - and please sell to Australia too - don't limit sales to the UK please

Our $ is very strong against the UK£ at present - we could be your best customers!
