I'm curious to know thoughts on this one. I bought it ages ago and put it away when it arrived as I wasn't quite sure what it was and it didn't 'fit' with any of my other pieces size wise. I did think perhaps Romanian or Israeli, that matt/satin lightweight glass painted with acid decorated swirls type thing, but actually I've seen a few of those and it's not the same (but it is *very* lightweight weighing almost nothing, having said that). It has some curious writing on the base and is rough textured to touch. Nice shape but would blow over if you whooshed a piece of paper past it practically. It sort of reminds me of a practice piece or something. Kind of like those miniature architect pieces to demonstrate what something may look like. The writing is in a black indelible pen? 12cm tall x 9cm wide and came from Cornwall.
All thoughts gratefully received. :sun:
