Hey Guys and thanks for your imput....I think I will stick with my initial thoughts of Jobling
Why? The Jobling connection is purely speculative; it is however known that this design was produced for Etling under the pattern no. 152. Most of Etling's pressed glass is believed to have been sourced from Choisy-le-Roi, though there is some evidence that Sabino might have made some models (An Etling fish is included in Decelle's
Sabino catalogue raisonne and Sabino curently have at least one old Etling pattern (Vase art nouveau V148) in production). Again, I believe it's still unknown whether they supplied Etling or simply acquired the moulds after Etling's closure in 1938.
Certainly Choisy-le-Roi/ Sevres continued to issue various 1920s/30s patterns post-war. Etling patterns are known with Sevres backstamps, likewise some Hunebelle designs that were produced at the works continued to be made and sold with paper Choisy-le-Roi labels after Hunebelle stopped production in the late 30s.
Either way it seems more reasonable to describe your bowl as Etling rather than Jobling.
