Walther pink glass Madonna lamp
« on: August 08, 2011, 09:40:42 AM »
Hello everyone
I am in the process of receiving a Walther pink frosted glass Madonna figure in an Arabella lamp.
I have been informed by the seller that it is found a lot as this combination and wondered if anyone else had seen it like this?
In the catalogues I can only see Madonna on her own in a black plinth and also as part of a double candleholder set?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thankyou Nigel

Hi Brenton
Cheers! I'm over the moon.I remember a dealer a few years ago before I was really into Walther having a green Arabella lamp with the Madonna figure but I wasn't really interested! If only......
It's strange how they turn up in that combination.I already have the pink Arabella lamp so this will be a nice addidtion with the Madonna.
I've also got a pink frosted eisbar bookend on it's way and a rare Bagley amber glass pelican centrepiece to come.
Best wishes Nige

Hi Brenton
I will definately post some photos when they arrive.I'm expecting the eisbar and pelican to arrive anyday soon and the seller of the Madonna lamp is away on holiday so they will post when they get back.
Haha yes I will keep you in mind about the spare Arabella lamp do you like pink?

Hi again Brenton
Received the Madonna lamp today and put it next to my pink Arabella lamp....looks really good! The Madonna figure has a nice weight to her.
Here are some photos for you.

Hi Brenton
Wow! Wish I had one of those you lucky man! Your Haarlems look fab!
No the goosegirl is sat in a pink seerose bowl at the moment.
I've got an amber goosegirl that arrived a couple of weeks ago aswell.

German site has got a pink Belvedere bowl listed at the moment. Just in case you're interested....However, it could be a damaged piece.
