I didn't have a copy of the book for reference, but I found one of these that sold on Ruby Lane for $235 with the following description.
"Designed by Reuben Haley and introduced in 1926, Consolidated’s Martele’ line of art glass was inspired by the glorious works of Rene’ Lalique featured at the 1925 Paris Exposition. Haley, who had previously been associated with Hocking and Fostoria, worked with his son Kenneth to produce the Martele' collection. An early catalog from Consolidated describes the line as combining “the skill of the artist, sculptor and glass artisan to bring out the hand wrought motifs obtained from nature’s own laboratories…the sea, the sky and the land have each supplied an inspiration to the artists.” This splendid and rare Consolidated Martele’ Orchid pattern footed, flared Comport or Console bowl, with a lovely sunshine yellow wash over crystal glass, is in excellent condition, with wonderful mold and color. There is a single miniscule internal bubble at the rim, but free from chipping or cracking. Unmarked, but guaranteed to be authentic Consolidated Martele’ glass. H 4.5”, D 10.75”, base 4.75”. "
Thanks so much for your help on this.
