Oh Ingela, every time I see that Swedish Forum, I drool!!

I am so pleased this is Marcolin,  when the thread first started, I wanted to jump in with both feet, screaming Marcolin, but restrained myself to see what others had to sayI  It is lovely Jeanette,  what a great piece, please let us all know when you list it for sale.....PLEASE.

Ingela,  just a quickie,  where can I get one of those amazing giraffes???

:hiclp: :hiclp: :hiclp:  Very pleasing for you Jeanne.  All of the Marcolin I have seen so far has been marked and the base fooled me.  A lovely item.  Great to have people from the right part of the world to help us attribute such beautiful things correctly.

Ingela, I hate to be a bore when it's such a great addition to this thread, but do you have permissions to use that catalogue photo on this forum?  If it's under copyright then the GMB is open to legal problems.

Hello all
I have been away sailing for a couple of days so have missed all your kind and much appreciated interest. The object is at our store at the moment. I will see it tomorrow, take the camera and really inspect it all over to see if there are any markings, I have to say that I did not look too closely when I posted. Will come back tomorrow evening with more.
Jeanne

Hi Jeanne,   :hi: Could you also check if the base is polished as well please?
I quite often identify glass birds and animals on eBay for your Hospice Shop, so it has been lovely meeting you here for a change!!

I have marked the base, and it looks polished

Here are another couple of pics of the base. There is definitely no signature. It is difficult to photograph as the white glass 'feathers'  are encased in quite a wide layer of clear glass. Most pictures looked as though the base was just the circle formed by the white glass. It is much larger and very polished. have tweaked the colour of one pic to try and emphasise the larger area. Could you help me with the name of the maker for listing ? There seems to be so many variations .
Best Regards
Jeanne
PS

Rosie Posie Do you have the right Hospice or have I misunderstood your post? I could well be very muddled. Jeanne

I was trying to show the size of the base in reply #16.

The maker is Marcolin.
