Todays Garage Sales Find

I don't know if this is anything or not. Got it from a garage sale today and there is no marks on it just gold like flakes inside the glass.  Any info would be appreciated.

????

Hi there:

I am not sure......might be Murano?.

What are the measurements?  I think CAD and USA bills are about 6 inches long, but hard to tell at the angle.    Sure is a pretty little bowl there.

Ok the piece is 3 inches tall and from point to point across its 4.5i inches.  The points on the top are spaced out at 2 inches tip to tip..  it weighs about 1.5lbs maybe.  How could you tell if there was real gold in it?   Thanks

It is aventurine, gold is only used in leaf form in glass, which shatters but still retains flatness - or as a colourant which you cannot see,

To me this looks a Murano glass bowl made with gold foil. I don't know which company made it, but I feel sure it is Murano.
