Topic: strange 4 spouted jug / vase - query for Ross (ahremck) I think?

I saw this item 250941640611  on Ebay Aus and remembered an earlier posting last year? or early this year perhaps -  asking what a similar item  was for?  (this is described as cobalt blue and white art glass vase - but that is obviously an error) I cannot find the previous post - sorry.

I think - and my apologies if I misremember - that Ahremck bought it? It was an Aussie I am sure  :usd:

This one has a label Gempo Giftware.

I googled them and they are a Melbourne based company (now called Gempo Living) who import housewares, and were established in 1955.

It occurred to me that if emailed they may be able to solve the matter of what this was for ?

Sorry Jak, I don't remember a 4 spouted anything. 

The only object I could think of is a Liqueur bottle that was made for four different liqueurs - usually made in France.  Older ones had glass stoppers with cork surrounds, later ones had Plastic stoppers with rubber surrounds.   Marketed in Australia by VOK liqueurs (So unreliable memory tells me) and perhaps Baitz as well.  They did not have spouts though.

If you look at the seller's other objects you will find the correct description as the very next thing for sale.  As you said an error - copied the wrong picture in error.

Oh Good! I am glad I didn't make it up! I know I'm old but didn't think I'd lost it just yet
