I believe this is one of the later ranges that Mdina produced after Michael left, around late 80s and into the 90s.

Different shape and date to the Inside-out vases.  I think there are a few other examples of this range on the board from memory, i think its one of nicer later designs that Mdina produced.

 :)

Eric Dobson designed "Tiger" while he was in charge after Micahel Harris left, this is, I believe another of his designs - I think it's knowm as "Sea and Sand", which consists of a band of "Tiger" over a bubbly yellow background,
It wasn't continued for any great length of time, it has one shape that is distinctive of Sea and Sand alone, a sort of wide round-bottomed bottle with a medium tall "spout" of a narrow neck.

This isn't an inside-out. Just a tall cased, vaguely egg-shaped vase.

Haha... Yes.

Little bit blurred but looks like the Sciurus Carolinensis or Grey Squirrel ?

Just popped in to see this one, i think its a great pattern, and based on Harris early designs. Just polished my collection
the other week, good quality stuff. The one thing i found out about this range, its a little earlier than Mark Hills book,
and is circa late 70s early 80s. I think it was only produced for a few years. The one piece, and only shape, i missed out on,
was a large Fish vase , dated 1981, luckily ive got the only cut ice version ive ever seen, just checked out the previous link
as i type, the one with the squirrel leaping over it !

Yours is a rarer shape , along with an onion shape, they are my favourites, and i would imagine , not easy to make!!

Cheers,
Andy
