That's by Joe St. Clair (Panelled Holly - an old Greentown design I believe). Pretty sure it's blue. Date would be c. late 1960s - 1970s.

Thanks again Glen. I never heard of either of these companies (summit or joe st. clair) until today. I have so much to learn. I have the standard carnival glass books, maybe you could recommend some for me that have companies like these included. Hugs, Rose

At the risk of sounding self-serving, my own book ("A Century of Carnival Glass") has an entire section on all the Contemporary Carnival Glass makers, both large and small.

@ Glen Ok I am getting some grief on this. One came up with the Summit Vogelsong V mark. Do you happen to know if St. Claire had the molds first and then they were sold to Summit? Thanks Rose

Grief?

Summit bought a number of St. Clair moulds (including Holly).

Grief or should I say Questioning? Either way I did see the one with the Summit mark in the lid. Same Pattern, and Dish. Because we are learning he is wondering if it's not St. Claire but Summit. Is there a way to tell which molds were St. Claire and where they ended up? It seems I have had a run with nothing but Summit and St. Claire glass. Thanks for your help  :)
