Another recently acquired piece with etched design.  Thought possibly Italian..........but am googly eyed now with all the searching for similar that I have done  8)

I could be way off beam, but am sure I've seen pieces with similar decoration at boot sales over the past year or so............... I'm wondering if these are newish, and coming in from the far east/near east, with an attempt to appear older than they are - possibly.

Been around for at least 20 years and current thought the provenance is Portugal - not Sweden, as thought before.
