I recently bought these three glasses together. They are all made of soda glass and have pontil marks. The fist has a high conical foot whilst the other two have quite dainty domed feet.
Their heights are 14cm, 13.2 cm and 14.2cm.
All three exhibit tool marks and the glass contains small air bubbles and inclusions. The second one is also slightly crizzled. The third has an inverted hollow baluster stem - is it a gin glass?
None of them possess the real solidity and clunkiness of the Lauenstein glasses, in fact they have an air of refinement.
Can anyone point to where and when they were made? Holland, France, Belgium, Germany?
