Murano I Think - But Which Maker?
« on: December 13, 2014, 01:28:27 PM »
I have found this little bowl/dish, it is 6 cm high and 12 cm at its widest point, and has gold flecks. I think it is Murano? Does anyone know who the maker could be?
Thanks a lot,
Mat

Take a look at Barovier and Toso, that kind of style anyway.

Thank you John, you must be right, it seems to be Barovier&Tosos "Cordonato d'Oro" design.

Looks good to me. Wish I had a book devoted to B&T.

I have three pieces in Cordonata d'Ora - clear, pink and ruby.
