Hi! Can anyone identify this vase that I initially thought was pottery. The Owner thought it was pottery too. It was only when I had picked it up, realised it was glass. Thought it maybe a Charles Lotton vase but there is no trace of a signature and I have not seen any in the form of a rectangular shape. If by Charles Lotton, is there any possibilty of some of his pieces not being signed? The vase is very texured and pitted in areas and has that mottled effect around the lower area of the vase more visible towards the base pontil. The vase is iridescent when held up to natural lighting. The spilt lava trail is melted into what I can only describe as black ash. I have tried looking at tiffany glass vases but not much luck there too. Your help is very much appreciated.
