It is a very nice example of a genuine 1930s (or perhaps late 1940s) period Paul Ysart "Triple Flower" weight.
The PY cane is correct and the base finish, with a small remnant of the cracking off scar, is ok too. Paul Ysart made many early weights with a flat polished base but usually for weights with a clear ground - the polishing preventing the pontil scar being seen through the dome.
I suspect this weight is close to 3.25 diameter.
If I was a jealous person, then this weight would cause me a deep emotional reaction! Good job I have a calm and considered approach to my
obsession collecting.
