We really need more and larger photos please, Alan. Try a shot from the top looking down, a side on view and a base view, all on a plain white background please - that stops confusion with ther colours in the image, and makes the colours of your piece more obvious.  Then make the images 700pixels along the longest edge and save for web and they should come in under the file size limit for uploading here. Shout if you get stuck and need help. :)

thanks for the reply
I did wonder myself, but I don't it had any other part to it
the base is plain but I will add a picture of it later
as you can see it is really small
I can't find anything of this maker on the internet or in my books I assume it's French very much like the colours of Galle'
the name is obviously small but it looks like L Chomprell, or L Chompret
someone out there must have other pieces by this maker
It's very interesting I would really love to know more about this maker
