Amethyst Bowl with Oval Hole
« on: January 26, 2018, 05:16:02 PM »
Hi all,

I picked up this amethyst bowl today as it looks well made with a polished concave mark on the base, I'm not sure about who could have made it though, anyone got any possible hints/leads?

It's 15 cm / 6 inches diameter & 10 cm / 4 inches high

Thanks,

Adam

Never seen one of these before Adam, much wear on the base?

Hi John,

There is some wear but not substantial. Possibly from 60/70's?  ???

It's strange isn't? But other than making it easier to carry I have no clue :)
