I've recently begun to doubt the identity of certain pieces of studio glass in our collection.
This vase was purchased from a gallery in Yanwath, Cumbria, about 15 years ago. The gallery has closed down now, but it was run by a very interesting couple. I mourn its closure, because it was the one place within an hour's drive of our remote rural spot where we could find contemporary art glass.
I'm sure I was told the vase was made by Norman Stuart Clarke. However, there is no signature and it does not resemble NSC's work. I may have been looking at his glass in the gallery and got confused. It happens.

5.25" tall, 5.5" rim diameter, 2.5" foot diameter.
