Large Green Cased Mid Century Vase Scandinavian ID please ?

Hello Everyone
i have this rather Striking piece of Glass which im hoping someone may recognise, this was thought to be in the previous ownership since about the 1970s but thats just what i was told by the previous owner so may be incorrect.

it is of good quality and finely Cased with a fading green colour.

if anyone could help me with an ID that would be great
