Not Pulegoso, yours looks more like a controlled bubble piece.  There's an excellent resource for collectors at cmog.org, including a glass dictionary explaining all the different terms, often with examples.

Which makers have you considered and eliminated so far?

I don't see a lot of purple glass.....yours feels fairly modern to me, but it's always difficult from pictures.  Having a bit of trouble seeing the base clearly.....perhaps another shot at an angle to catch the light?
