Large flared orange compote ?Murano. Help ID please
« on: March 05, 2021, 08:20:45 AM »
Hi there,
I hope someone can help us identify this large stunning orange compote-shaped, hand made/blown glass bowl.
It measures 33cm in diameter, has the quality, clarity and feel of Murano/Venetian glass.
It is two flared cone shapes; the large orange bowl and the smaller clear foot. These are joined together where the pontiles would be at a clear glass join. Hope that makes sense.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Online search finds the shape is reminiscent of Pairpoint or Blenko but I think this is Italian.

Many thanks in advance for pointing us in the right direction even with the name of the shape.

Cheers
