Czech vase L Palecek
« on: December 13, 2024, 04:24:25 PM »
I have recently purchased a vase which was attributed to L. Palecek, made by Skrdlovice or Beranek in Czech from 1990 to 2008.  The seller bought the the vase from an East German Auction site, with this attribution, but  had no further information about the vase. A similar vase is also for sale currently on the internet, but the seller had no definitive information about the vase and told me he just copied the attribution.
The vase is cylindrical,  Height 16cm, Diameter 10cm, Weight 2.6kg
Glass vase made with an inner red layer, with a partially surrounding layer of small frothy bubbles . Smooth pontil
No reference to the vase in the czechglassguide.com
I attach photos of the vases.
Any thought?
Many thanks in advance from "Downunder"
Geoff
