??

Is this getting close at all to this one of mine?  it must be something as it is well made, heavy, thick....and seems to have quality.  So just trying to dig around here.

So (might) this be getting close (similar style)......or left field........................or right off the Planet?

Thanks Jindra -
I guess it might remain *nameless* -- for such a heavy, thick, and well made piece of glass. It is quite stunning as the pics do not do it justice.

I still hope  :X: that someone will have some idea as to a style name (tulip shape??), or a lead in which direction to go as for a maker, and even a year.

I do believe that this is a quality piece - - but who -- the mystery remains  :'(

Please keep THIS one in mind this one, while trolling the net.....in case something is stumbled upon... :X:

Thanks....

:hi:  OK.... I weighed this sucker -- it weighs about 4 pounds   (or for Anne -- "AV. WT."), and tested it like five times on the bathroom scale.  Sometimes it went a tad over 4 pounds.  To me that is heavy...

I took some new pics to see *if* that would help at all.  Here's hoping  :X:  as this one is driving me  :hb2:

Thxs

I could believe they were related - there is a similarity of colour. They're definitely from the same period - 60s/70s.  In all the thing looks free form, which makes it hard to place in any camp. Seeing the colour it could be Belgium (Doyen or Boussu) or German. Definitely not Dutch, most unlikely from Scandinavia. Not Czech, not Polish. US is a possibility - Tiffin, Fostoria perhaps. And if it were Canadian I think you would have figured it out by now?

Thanks Ivo -- as least that is you and me that feel (??) they could be related.  Glad that you see some similarity too.  I have no clue on this one at all......And if it were Canadian I think you would have figured it out by now?  I doubt that, as I am still learning here....and IF I did not have pictures/images to look at -- I would be even more lost.   :24: ;D

That link from RL is the closest thing I have happen to *stumble* upon so far....I will keep trying.  I will try some of your suggestions here too to see if it can point me somewhere  :usd:   :X:

thanks  :kissy:

Whoooooooooooops..... :thud:  just was guessing. :spls2:  Good memory, just real short.... :24:

This one really *bugs* me.  I do not know what to call the shape when I google, or how to describe the base -- so that is why I am at a Stand-still.  How would you describe it in a search engine hunt?  The Shape....??
