ooh I didn't know Vasart used a button pontil (or I hadn't remembered).

Did Vasart always mark their stuff with the matchstick dipped writing? Or was that a particular time period or just random?

Note that for paperweights from Ysart Brothers Glass (Vasart) [1st period 1946 to 1956] the acid signing was not a regular occurrence. Also those weights with signatures may, or may not, include parts of: "Ysart Bros Made in Scotland".

I am not sure whether any weights from that period were acid signed "Vasart".
