I wish there were better documentation on Legras.

Hi Galle,
thank you very much  ;D
I was leaning towards Kralik for the other one. Do you think this one is a Legras piece?

Regards Andy :D

Not in English...

Michel, Marie-Françoise and Michel, Jean-François. (2002), "Legras, Verrier": 275 pages b/w colour.

Abstract:
Monograph on Legras. Exhibitions, company information and political events

There is another by Poirer - Legras, Maitre Verrier Des Vosges

Thanks for the info on the books, Frank - I will check those out. I will say that enameled winter scenes typically do send me scampering towards Legras, but I would need to research it a little more - French glass (believe it or not) is not my main area of expertise. :)

Andy, I looked at the cocktail set, and I do think it's cool, but I'm afraid I can't help much there, either. You might try contacting Alfredo Villanueva (his info is on Loetz.com as well) - he has helped me on more than one occasion.

Added the second to the bibliography:

Poirier, Henri and Lorraine, Saône (1990), "Legras: Maître Verrier des Vosges": 30 ? pages colour.

Abstract:
Biography on master glass maker François-Théodore Legras. Vases, Pâte de Verre, Flasks. Considered on of the best available on this artist. French Text ISBN No.: 2723304159

Last one sold on eBay at 66 euros but found one while looking for data at under 5 euros.

Thanks for the welcome, Andy... I've been registered here for a while, but haven't really posted here until now - I do spend quite a bit of time on eBay's pottery, glass, and porcelain discussion board. I posted a user gallery here over the last few days with photos of the majority of my collection - feel free to check it out. It's a work in progress, of course. :)
