I think this might be my perfect piece of green opaline :rah: It has the most amazing glow under UV light. Beautifully cut sides, polished pontil, rounded corners, some dark marks (frit?) in the stopper and neck of the bottle.
However, I've searched opaline for many months now and so far I've not managed to id any of my pieces

With this one, I have found perfume bottles that are the same cut as this one, and green, but they have ormolu mounts either on the corners or over the stopper/collar/neck and their stoppers are different. I'm sure this stopper is right for this bottle. The stopper has a 10 on the bottom of it. Please ignore the smudges on it, it is perfectly polished and shiny. It doesn't look like a European 1 to me though??
So I am wondering..Is it French? or is it maybe Bohemian? Would it be called Chrysoprase if it were French, or is called Chrysoprase anyway, because it is a combination of Uranium and opaline glass. Could it be 1870's? or is it later? Is it maybe not French or Bohemian? Ivo I am counting on you
