What about a ballaclava to go with the coat David? LOL

Yes, I just  unearthed my Millers, that one in the book is cylindrical and mine is square (much nicer I think), but same era I think.  I would agree is looks very Mdina-like, but then I believe there is a historical connection..remember reading about it. Didn't Michael Harris, leave Mdina and set up I o W glass works?  I MUST widen my horizons!!!  Emmi

That's right. He left Mdina in 1972 when the political situation worsened. I think the Prime Minister at the time was Dom Mintoff, if memory serves me correct.

He then started IoW but died in 1994, but his wife and sons, Jonathan & Timothy, carried on and the studio still produces stunning art glass today.

One of the sons left to form another studio (arghh, Sue, where are you...)

thanks for the site link David...I think I have a perfume decanter from the Strapped Seawood range, so very happy with that.  Yes...where is Sue???

Johnathan Harris left to set up his own studio in Ironbridge.  I went there in 2004 to see it.  I have three pieces of his beautiful unique work and one piece of his studio range.  I met him there and he signed the piece I bought right in front of me.  Here is his website:
