No your not on your own, I keep anything cut and old. My latest three all have the same colour, that blue tint. The moulded candlestick base has heavy base wear, the lidded cut dish is in mint condition and the the third piece has base wear mainly to the centre, I'm not sure what it is, it has the cut notched top of a Georgian salt and the shape of an ale, it's also in mint condition (apart from the base wear), I'm guessing it's a vase.

What a beautiful trio of items - especially that lidded dish, it's a stunner - and in perfect condition. You lucky so and so!

Hi Jay

Welcome to the board.

I been collecting cut with a wife for a few years now.

I love your lidded jar but cannot really add much more than Paul. Its my wife who tends to do a lot of are research.
When I buy a new piece I find that handling the item is very important , how the item and cutting feels etc. I look forward to seeing more of any future items and will add some of my newer items.

Roy

Thanks Roy,
I have just started a new thread with my latest find - a rather nice cut glass vase. See what you think!
Best wishes,
Jay
