For some reason I am sure I have seen something online that these are made in Italy.

I remember being surprised, my instinct being they might have been made in Czechoslovakia.

But I could be remembering wrongly - sorry not a lot of help but perhaps something to start searching for.

You're doing better than I am, m.   :)
All I can think of when I look at this is cake.  :-[
It looks like really fancy sugar icing.

I think this is more likely to be Czech than Italian

Christine yes me too - but I definitely remember seeing somewhere they were made in Italy as the surprise at that is what made me file it away in my brain.  Obviously I could be mis-remembering though - that is always possible  ;D

hmm ... wondering what you write  :)

in the first version, I thought it was the Czech Republic but I excluded it

I also saw it somewhere but unfortunately escaped from my brain drawers, maybe Italy  ???

I'm looking all the time

I will have a search and see if I can find something that might have a 'made in Italy' label or whatever it was that made me remember this.

I am in agreement with Christine as I said earlier on - my first instinct would be Czech Republic but ... I just have that niggling feeling about Italy for some reason.

this is not what I was remembering but... it might be similar to whatever stuck in my brain - it's not the same as samantta's in that it is nowhere near as intricate but it is something that has some raised enamel and the brightly coloured enamel leaves and is also a piece I would have thought might have been made in the Czech Republic as opposed to  Italy.

What do we think?

This one also appears to have a label - again raised floral enamels and leave sbut nowhere near as intricate as the original.

no, no, that's not what's going on, it's 0.8mm thick, what was it that Murano was doing ?? for me it is Bohemia Glas thin and not this enamel is not the work of flowers.
